Some hard rock from Toronto, Ontario with bite and kick ass grooves that will get you moving, unless you’re dead. This quintet issued their debut full length record, The Bad Pack in October 2012 and prior to that an EP, In The Rough in 2008.
Listen to the vocals in “Get The Fuck Outta Here”, such power from Priya Panda, plus awesome playing from C.C. Diemond and Daniel Dekay on guitar, Tommy Cee on bass, and Aiden Tranquada on drums. “Take On The Night”, “Left for Dead”, “Lil’ Miss”, and “Loud N’ Nasty” which is exactly that are just some standouts, but you can’t go wrong with any of the songs on the album. Guitarists DeKay and Diemond play with force and energy while not over playing, Cee and Tranquada carry the job of giving DIEMONDS heaviness, but a ton of melody as well, and Panda’s vocals are just a wonder to listen to, strong, powerful, melodic and sexy as well.
DIEMONDS has to be one the best hard rock bands out there right now, with the skill that they put into unpretentious rock that makes you move your ass and just feels right. This is the kind of stuff that radio should be playing instead of the emo, angsty crap that passes for rock music now, this is real rock!
